A former UK government lawyer specialising in nuclear energy policy, Thom transitioned to the nonprofit sector to address the impact of industrial animal agriculture on climate change, biodiversity, and public health.

Through FarmKind, he works with experts to identify high-impact organisations that improve animal welfare, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and promote sustainable food systems. Passionate about systemic change, Thom advocates for alternative proteins, corporate accountability, and policies that drive a more ethical and climate-friendly food industry.
